Nigel Farage Accuses Teachers of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Race Issues

The political figure stated that teachers would go on strike shortly after a success at the polls for his party, accusing them of “poisoning our kids” by instructing students that black pupils are victims and Caucasian students are perpetrators.

At a gathering for a Michigan-based religious institution, the politician expressed his perspective on British schools, claiming that the “radical left-wing” had “taken over schooling”.

“I’m anticipating a walkout by educators soon after winning the next general election,” Farage commented in response to questions.

“They are poisoning our kids. They instruct children to feel guilt about their nation. They are telling an eight-year-old black child that he is oppressed and little Oliver, who is white, who is eight that he is a perpetrator. They are dividing us, instead of fostering unity. They are feeding this harmful mindset.”

In response to Farage’s claims, Daniel Kebede rejected the idea that the education system was controlled by Marxists as “nonsense”. Kebede noted that industrial action must relate to teachers’ terms and conditions, and questioned whether Reform would attack these right after taking office.

“The politician has crafted his political career on dog-whistle politics and currently, similar to other figures, he is lining up teachers and their organizations for a fight,” the union leader said.

“I think that’s grossly irresponsible. I don’t – and nor does my union – advocate such divisive theories as he claims … If he were to lead the government he would sell out our public services, including education … and he would be a disaster for education and children.”

Reform, which tops surveys by about 10 points, has not set out much detail on its educational plans and does not appear to have designated an education lead.

Nonetheless, Farage’s remarks suggested the group would reform the system and the curriculum. He said: “We have got a massive job with education – absolutely herculean. And, it won’t happen quickly; it requires years, years to turn this around.”

He stated that gen Z was more open to analytical thought, but millennials were “absolutely hopeless”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, he commented: “My goal for schooling is to teach critical thinking – to educate individuals that there are two points of view and they should decide for themselves rather than current practices where views are labeled good or bad. This is a huge undertaking in both Britain and America.”

Reform has previously clashed with a major educators’ organization, after the union leader labeled them “extremist and prejudiced” and dismissed Farage as “a cheap imitation”.

Farage has accused Kebede of being “a self-declared Marxist” … someone who is absolutely determined that young minds be corrupted at school, their thinking tainted about everything to do with this country” and maintained that the organization seeks to brainwash youth opposed to his party.

Almost one million people work in schools in the UK, with educators comprising half and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has about 450,000 members.

National strikes over teacher pay and conditions in recent years led to significant interruptions in schools and millions of days of lost learning for children.

During the American gathering, the Reform leader also vowed to promote the online educational material of the institution in the UK. He said such groups were “part of the fightback”, adding that: “I am serious. I’ll assist garner hundreds of thousands, if not millions of young people to these educational programs. I make that commitment tonight and I will follow through.”

The college, a religious educational establishment, provides complimentary classes. According to its online description: “Comprehensive learning is vital for well-being and to perpetuate the blessings of civil and religious liberty. It offers these beautiful courses for no charge to all who wish to learn.”
